How it works
  • Moisture is absorbed by the adsorbent ashumid air at the inlet pointtravels up the drying tower.
  • Some dry air at theoutlet pointis heated by the external regenerative heater and descends towardsthe regeneration tower. Moisture of the adsorbent is evaporated, dried and discharged to the atmosphere through the purge valve.
  • Moisture in the regeneration tower is sufficiently dried, stopping the heater while regeneration air continues to be discharged, cooling the adsorbent.
  • As such, the 8-hour operating cycle is composed of 4 hours of drying, 2.3 hours of heating, and 1.5 hoursof cooling and pressure equalization.
